Mountain Top Media was founded in 1998 by Jim & Melissa Hobbs and was created as a complete systems integration contractor for churches, and their related ministries, such as schools, conference centers, etc.  As a Christian organization, our goal is to assist in spreading the gospel of Jesus Christ by helping to implement the best, most efficient, and reliable technical systems for all of our customers.

In addition to our design and installations business, we provide live event productions services throughout central and northern California.

Finally, we have a massive catalog of sermons and seminars available for order on CD.  These are currently being encoded and set-up for download via our web store, which we hope to have online in early spring, 2016.

Jim is a 30+ year veteran of the Pro Audio/AV industry, and also spends a good amount time behind the microphone as a worship leader and singer. Jim also has a considerable amount of experience in radio broadcast, (as an air personality and also an engineer), and in live television broadcasts, (as an audio/systems engineer), and dabbles in acting and song writing.

Melissa has many years of experience as an interior designer/drafts-person.  These skills have been very useful in making our installations attractive, not just functional!  Melissa is also our business manager, mother to our son, Josiah, and wife to Jim (that’s a big job all by itself!).

In addition to Mountain Top Media, our sister company, ComTech Complete Technology Solutions, Inc., provides many for the same services, as well as full IT infrastructure, software, and many other services for Business and Government.
